The Roller Club Firenze was founded in June of 1995 when rollerblading became extremely popular in Italy. Within just a few years from opening, our rental shop grew from 90 to 315 pairs of stakes, most of which are rented out completely, especially during the weekends. Located in the center of the Cascine Park, the Roller Club is housed in "Le Pavoniere", a former palace of the Lorena family built in 1743. The park was declared an architectural and environmental heritage site by the Italian government in 1961. The park area is closed to traffic and you can skate on 6km long paths paved around centuries-old trees.
We offer not only rental skates, but also latest innovations in rollerblading, the possibility to try something new, lockers to store your shoes, as well as, technical support and assistance.
The Roller Club organizes skate trips and workouts with for those who want to keep fit, have fun and prepare for the ski season. We organize and participate at sporting events that promote non-competitive and recreational activities.
